Prince Royce sent a message of unity by performing his bachata hymn “Stand By Me” on the third night of the Democratic National Convention, Wednesday August 19.

The Dominican-American singer-songwriter sang his 2010 bilingual hit in Miami, especially near colorful Tito Puente Street, filled with quaint murals.

« My people, let us stand in solidarity and do not forget to vote in November ”, he declared at the end of his representation.

The third day of the DNC also featured performances by Billie Eilish and a speech by former Secretary of State and 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Senator and running mate Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama are expected to speak later this evening.

The Democratic National Convention continues Thursday night (August 20), with expected performances from The Chicks and John Legend and Common.
