Possible exposure to COVID-19 at Regina International Airport: SHA

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning the public of potential exposure to COVID-19 at Regina International Airport after someone who tested positive visited them when they were likely contagious. This happened on August 23 between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., according to a statement.

The individual was in several areas of the airport during this time, including the Tim Hortons located beyond security before boarding a flight.

SHA says the person is from another province and that province will provide further information on the flights affected.

Health officials are advising those who were at the scene during the possible window of exposure to monitor for symptoms themselves. If symptoms appear, SHA requests immediate self-isolation and testing modalities through Healthline.
