Philippe Coutinho discusses future as he responds to Arsenal claims

Philippe Coutinho is adamant that any discussion of his future can wait after insisting that his aim is to help Bayern Munich to Champions League glory.

The former Liverpool star has been linked on several occasions with a return to the Premier League recently. His move to Barcelona in 2018 did not work out and he has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions don’t want to keep him on a permanent deal. Therefore, if Barcelona are to get rid of him, they will have to find another suitor.

His agent, Kia Joorabchian, is looking to direct him to Arsenal, alongside another of his clients.

But there are also other passionate clubs. As such, Chelsea were touted if their deal with Kai Havertz hit the buffers.

Wherever it ends up, it looks like a move to ex-Liverpool doesn’t seem to be going.

Despite strong suggestions that Arsenal are the most likely suitor, Coutinho insists all talks about his future have been put on hold.

In fact, the Brazilian is only thinking of helping Bayern beat PSG in the Champions League final on Sunday.

“My mind is completely focused on the competition. This is a unique opportunity for us. I am very happy to be in the Champions League final, ”he said. Interactive sport.

“About my future, I didn’t think about it because I only think about the final.

“We are up against a great team,” added Coutinho. “We (Neymar and Coutinho) haven’t spoken yet because of the game. I’m sure he’s focused on his team and me on mine.

“PSG are a very strong team with very fast forwards. I don’t even need to say how great Neymar is because the whole world knows it.

“They also have strong defense. It will be a great game, a great final.

Barnes says Arsenal are ‘best choice’ for Coutinho

Talk to BonusCodeBets, Liverpool legend John Barnes had his say in Coutinho’s future.

He believes a move to the Gunners would be the Brazilian star’s best match.

“Arsenal could be the best club with the style of football they play. Chelsea could be another good game, because of the way Frank Lampard sets up his squad, so with that in mind Arsenal or Chelsea would be the best fit for him.

“I don’t think he will go to Manchester City to be honest. Pep Guardiola would be able to get the most out of him, but it often happens that he has been part of a successful team before, and he hasn’t been able to show himself as much as he would like.
