Philippe Coutinho breaks silence on Arsenal transfer link and talks about “unique opportunity”

Philippe Coutinho says he is not thinking about his future as he is fully focused on winning the Champions League with Bayern Munich. Describing the lifting of the European Cup as a “once in a lifetime opportunity”, the Brazilian said the final is currently on everyone’s mind.

Coutinho has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months, although speculation has cooled since the Gunners signed Willian.

The Brazilian has been quiet about his future while still at Bayern Munich, and his recent comments in the press have hammered home.

“My mind is completely focused on the competition,” Coutinho said, when asked to discuss his future. “This is a unique opportunity for us. I am very happy to be in the Champions League final.
