Singer-songwriter Don-E said he was ‘gutted’ from the carnival cancellation as he had been going since the 1980s, but was happy to be a part of the event virtual.

The cancellation of the Notting Hill Carnival comes as more than 1,000 unlicensed music events (UMEs) in London have been closed since the end of June.
