Étoile « Mob Wives » Drita D’Avanzo asked the judge to take it easy with her husband in his federal gun case… but instead, the judge dropped the hammer. Drita and her 2 daughters were in court on Friday for her husband Lee D’Avanzothe conviction in New Jersey where the judge Rachel P. Kovner sentenced Lee to 64 months in prison. Lee’s attorney argued that a 37-month sentence was more than enough because he had taken responsibility for the crime … but Brooklyn federal prosecutors wanted up to 46 months. Kovner did not have it, saying it was extremely dangerous to keep 2 guns loaded with hollow point ammunition in a house with 2 girls. Kovner added that she was not confident Lee would learn her lesson if she gave him a lighter sentence. She also noted that Lee had 6 previous convictions and had previously violated supervised release. She said she had a duty to protect the public. Once he has served his sentence… Lee will be on probation for 2 years. As we reported … Lee apologized for his actions and pleaded guilty to gun possession charges in March after the NYPD looted the family home and found the weapons. Drita was finally erased of all costs. light wrote a letter to the judge asking him to interrupt Lee because he is a good father to their two daughters. This plea has obviously fallen on deaf ears.
