LOTTERY bettors can soon win five by matching only two numbers.
The new rule applies in Must Be Won games, which take place after five knockdowns.
If no one matches the six numbers of the Must Be Won jackpot, it is shared among all cash winners.
Now, for the first time, two numbers will be enough for a prize – with around a million players per draw expected to raise £ 5 and a free chance. Camelot will launch the shake-up starting November 7 with a special Must Be Won draw.
Business Manager Neil Brocklehurst said: “We know that an unexpected extra five dollars – which could be spent on chocolates, a book, or coffee for a friend – can really put a smile on someone’s face.
Meanwhile, three ‘Grand September’ draws will kick off with £ 20million up for grabs on Saturday 5th.
