The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently bought a new home in Montecito, a community in Santa Barbara, about an hour north of Los Angeles. The £ 11,211,645 ($ 14,650,000) property is a 9 bedroom, 16 bathroom mansion which sits on a large plot with a rose garden.

The luxurious home has other lavish amenities including a library, spa, wet and dry saunas, gym, game room, arcade, theater, wine cellar, and a five-car garage.
Meghan and Harry are reportedly in the process of creating a comfortable space for Ms Ragland at their new property in one of their guesthouses.

Speaking to US Weekly, a source close to the couple said: “They are converting one of the guesthouses into a home for Doria, who plans to split her time between Los Angeles and Montecito. “

In May, a source revealed to The Sun that the couple were planning Ms Ragland to move in with them.

The source said: ‘Once the quarantine and lockdown are over Harry and Meghan will move into their new block – and they want Doria included in these plans.

“She is however extremely independent and does not want to be in their space. She will have her own grandmother’s annex. ”

The Sussexes have chosen the residential neighborhood of Santa Barbara to raise their son, Archie, in a safe and private neighborhood, where they will mingle with high profile names in the Hollywood sphere.

The US Weekly source said, “They’ve already met some of their neighbors, like Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, who are locals.

“Harry and Meghan are finally feeling happy, safe and at home!” ”

Speaking to Page Six about the couple’s decision to buy a home, a source revealed they moved in last month.

They said: “Harry and Meghan have been living quietly in their own house in Santa Barbara since early July.

“They aren’t guests of Oprah or anyone else, they bought this house themselves.

“This is where they want to continue their life after leaving the UK. It is the first house that one of them has ever owned.

“It has been a very special time for them as a couple and as a family – to have complete privacy for six weeks since they moved in.

“They intend to take root in this home and the quiet community, which has considerable privacy.

“This is where they want to raise Archie, where they hope he can have as normal a life as possible.”

The source added: “Harry and Meghan never intended to move to Los Angeles.

“It was a good place for them when they came to the US to be close to Meghan’s mother.
