Since the closure of McDonald’s across the UK in March, fans have been waiting for things to get back to normal. As the company reopened its entire ride on June 4, those looking to enjoy their fast food inside the restaurant had to wait a bit longer.

However, most restaurants, including some in Lincolnshire, have reopened for indoor dining, a decision that is sure to please many.

In a double dose of good news, the decision came just in time for the fast food giant to take advantage of the government’s Eat Out to Help Out program, reports WalesOnline.

The scheme, which gives people a 50% discount up to £ 10 if they dine out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, also applies at McDonald’s – but there is a catch.

The offer, which was first discovered on the hotukdeals forum, is a catering initiative and only applies to dinner service, so it is not available for take-out or drive-thru.

The offer also does not apply when you order take-home food or use the Uber Eats or Just Eat app.

The following Lincolnshire restaurants participate in the program:

  • Colsterworth
  • Lincoln – Chemin Moorland
  • Lincoln – Rope Walk
  • Lincoln – Centre Carlton
  • Lincoln – Gateway
  • Spalding DT
  • Long Sutton
  • Sleaford – Rond-point de Holdingham
  • Boston
  • Grantham
  • Stamford
  • Skegness – Grande Parade
  • Gainsborough
  • Bourne
  • Sutterton

Regarding the program and participating establishments, there is no limit to the number of times you can get 50% off your food.

Customers can use the discounts as many times as they want, as long as it’s on orders placed Monday through Wednesday in August when the program launches.

This means that you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner for half the price three days a week if you want.

It can also be used in addition to other discounts – this includes two offers for a meal. As a result, your final bill will be even cheaper and perfect for those looking to dine on a budget.
