Mazdas 2021 is available in a dark and sleek new option of the Carbon Edition

Mazda North American Operations has just introduced a new Carbon Edition trim option for the upcoming 2021 Mazda CX-5, CX-9 and Mazda6. It’s dark (uh) and should serve as 2020 Mazda’s answer to the eternal question “But how mon new vehicle more special than the same model as my neighbor? “

First of all, your Carbon (aka Kuro) Mazda Edition will be finished in an exclusive Polymetal Gray (or optional Jet Black Mica) exterior paint with black accents like glossy exterior mirrors and metallic-finished aluminum alloy rims. Inside, the gray is offset by red leather seats and black honeycomb accents. Make sure you report all of this to your neighbor.

Also ask them if their car has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Bose audio system, heated front seats, and safety technology like Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go Smart Brake, because yours does. . If theirs does too – it’s unclear exactly where this trim will land in the model lines – just send them back to the exclusive paint job.

Mazda announces that it will release pricing for all three Carbon Edition models as the respective vehicles carrying the pack are announced.
