If you fancy Mandarin, good news: the restaurant chain will soon reopen its locations, but without its famous buffet.

In a recent update, Mandarin Restaurants President James Chiu said the chain is planning to launch Mandarin Small Eats at its Brampton location (located on Highway 410 south of Steeles) on Monday August 17th.

Mandarin Small Eats is described as a new restaurant concept for the chain, with dishes from a selection of 70 small plates of classic Mandarins served directly to your table.

Chiu says the dishes will cost between $ 1.99 and $ 4.99 and can be enjoyed / shared with others.

This new style of catering will also be present in Mandarin’s other establishments, which should reopen in the coming weeks.

Mandarin restaurants have also introduced new security measures, including better sanitization, single-use menus, and reduced guest capacity at each restaurant.

“We make sure that your Mandarin experience is enjoyable, safe and comfortable for you and your family,” Chiu said. “We continue to work with guidelines from the Ontario government and local public health authorities.

Mandarin remains available for take out and delivery.
