Dortmund have given United a deadline to match their assessment of the player: August 10, two days before their first friendly in Austria and the day of United’s Europa League quarter-final in Cologne.
Any completed transfer for Sancho is expected to total at least £ 90million, or € 100million up front, with Dortmund holding significant fees.
Sancho appeared relaxed and in a positive mood with his teammates, including new boy Jude Bellingham, although he may have played for the German club for the last time.
Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will speak to the media today ahead of Wednesday’s Europa League game against LASK.
