Manchester United make morning headlines as Inter Milan confirm transfer fees paid to Man Utd

Inter Confirm fees paid for United players Italian club Inter Milan have confirmed fees paid to Manchester United for Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young transfers.

The Milan giants paid a club-record € 74.162million (around £ 66.75million) to land Belgian striker Lukaku, while paying an additional € 1.729million (£ 1.55million) sterling) to land Young in January.

Inter’s dealings with United don’t end there either, as they secured a loan deal for Alexis Sanchez a year ago and took a significant chunk of the Chilean’s salary.

MEN revealed this week that Inter are confident to sign a permanent deal with Sanchez.

United interested in Skriniar – report

Manchester United are ready to offer Sanchez and Chris Smalling to Inter to land defender Milan Skriniar this summer.

This is according to a report from the Italian outlet Football which US intends to secure Slovak and will offer Sanchez and Smalling to make the deal happen.

Opinion: United repeat tactics in Sancho talks

Manchester United are deploying the same tactics to pursue Jadon Sancho that they used to land Bruno Fernandes in January.

As shown in more detail by our United writer Rich Fay here , United plan to stretch the negotiation process as they are convinced they will strike a deal as no other club are in the running for the Borussia Dortmund star’s signature.

MEN Sport understands that the England international is United’s number one transfer target this summer and United is focused on lowering the base transfer fee while maintaining overall fees through a series of add-ons, this which they did with Sporting for Fernandes in January.
