Man City Transfer News LIVE Lionel Messi to City Latest news on Barcelona buyout clause

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has warned Manchester City they won’t be getting Kalidou Koulibaly on the cheap this summer.Koulibaly has been identified as just the man to add the quality the Blues backline lacks and he is the club’s main transfer target this summer.

Despite speculation to the contrary, MEN Sport understand that City have yet to make an offer for the Senegalese international and have not even warned Napoli that an offer is about to be made, but De Laurentiis warned that they will have to meet his asking price to sign it.

“You don’t have to ask me if Koulibaly will play for Napoli again,” he told RadioKissKiss, via Fabrizio Romano. “You have to ask Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG. These are the teams that can afford to pay certain amounts today.

“I see a lot of buzzards in the transfer market… you know who they are, they seem to be waiting to kick in, but we’ve got impenetrable armor and they won’t get what they want or at the price they want. ”
