Jurgen Klopp provided an update on Liverpool’s training camp in Austria.
The Reds face RB Salzburg tomorrow – and the boss has given the latest information on injuries and preparations.
“We’re nearing the end, but there are still two very, very important sessions to come. This afternoon we have an 11v11 session, tactical stuff, really important, and then tomorrow night the game against Salzburg. ”
“So far I couldn’t be happier, to be honest, because 10 or 11 days ago we didn’t know if we could go to a camp, we didn’t have a real solution. But thanks to our guys, with Ray [Haughan] and Phil Holliday – and thanks to On the side, I have to say, who organized it here – it’s amazing. This is one of the best camps we have ever had – and no one would have thought that a few days ago. It is absolutely awesome. ”
SITUATION OF INJURY
“It’s not cool that right now we have one or two injuries; not massive, but sufficient, and for the players it’s still bad and we want to have the preseason for everyone. But so far most of the things that we could do with the majority of the players, it helps – but it has to be done because in five days we will be playing Arsenal and it will be difficult.
«Ki-Jana [Hoever] rolled his ankle a bit here but was told he was involved in some games this morning and would be in the full session this afternoon so we should have the same squad as the Stuttgart game .
