Four players the Reds could target in the transfer market
Liverpool have demonstrated their intention to exploit inefficiencies in football in recent years; the Reds have spent time and money on set pieces, throw-in coaches and nutrition to name just three departments.
The most obvious change in approach concerns recruitment. Liverpool have shown other clubs how well team building is done, leading to major titles including the Premier League and Cahmpions League.
A significant recruiting ineffectiveness that has been identified by Liverpool has been relegated players. The common perception is that players who suffer from relegation are bad, but it has become apparent that great players can fall with bad teams.Gini Wijnaldum, Andy Robertson, Xherdan Shaqiri are three suitable examples; good players who suited Jurgen Klopp’s brand of football, but failed to shine for Newcastle United, Hull City and Stoke City respectively.
So are there any players under contract with Bournemouth, Watford or Norwich City that the Reds might have an interest in signing this summer?
