isManchester United in the semi-final of the European Cup! It doesn’t matter if it’s the one that doesn’t really matter – it’s always a semi-final. And just try to say that to all the fans who have come along… oh. Good. It still matters. Kind of.An Inter Milan against Manchester United is the last one most neutrals would want to see, especially since there are many former United players currently employed by current club Antonio Conte, but United are not there yet. The first is a draw against Sevilla.

Led by Julen Lopetegui, this guy who was sacked from Spain and Real Madrid just a few weeks apart, they managed to finish fourth in La Liga and absolutely dominated Wolves in the quarter-finals. United have the best individual players, but it could be a game that suits a patient counter-attacking approach – something United’s quick forwards are great for.

Tonight’s victory would be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s 50th in charge of United, something he achieved faster than anyone to manage the club except two. Want to guess who these could be?

Answer: Ernest Mangnall and Sir…. Jose Mourinho.

If he wants to achieve this feat, the referee could be of help. United have received 21 penalties in all competitions this season and Bruno Fernandes will be available to score more tonight, assuming that is what happens. It’s not a conspiracy of course, you have to be in the right place to shoot fouls into the box after all, and United’s fast forward play can be a nightmare to defend against. Sevilla certainly didn’t like playing against Adama Traore in their last game – Rashford, Greenwood and Martial have to attack them hard and fast.

Ever Banega is the choice of Sevilla players, but we can talk more about him closer to the game. You never know, none of these guys could actually play!

Kick-off is at 8pm and you can watch the game on BT Sport, while getting analysis and updates of the whole game from me right here in this liveblog.
