Bruce Lee may be dead, but his spirit is alive and well in this little boy from Japan… who knows one of legend’s insane nunchuck movie routines like the back of his hand. Meet Ryusei – a legitimate Kung Fu prodigy who is obsessed with all things Bruce… including his famous fight scene from “Enter the Dragon”, where he swings around chucks like the master martial artist he was. It turns out Ryusei wasn’t too far behind him… at 5 years old !!! The clip you see here was shot a while ago, but it shows the child with their back to the movie playing in the background. As Bruce begins to chuckin ‘, so does Ryusei… who is completely in sync with the routine, almost perfectly. It’s pretty wild to see him play. Since then, the kid only seems to have improved at his craft – he’s got an IG page… at 9 years old now, it looks like he could be just plain good as Bruce was in his prime. He might be better at this age, in fact… Ryusei is already wrestling with grown-ups and fending for himself.
Waiting for your permission to load Instagram media.
His high-level abilities – and the natural comparisons to Bruce – are definitely something his parents play. Looks like they’re posting a ton of side-by-side photos of Ryusei with the dead caption, and they went to Bruce’s grave in Seattle to pose for a photoshoot. Hey, when you’re this good… milk for all it’s worth.
