Limited Edition 2021 Subaru WRX Club Spec in Australian Showrooms


Available with a manual or CVT transmission, the Club Spec variant will cost $ 7,500 to $ 10,000 more than the entry-level WRX.

A limited edition Subaru WRX Club Spec – based on the current generation model – has been revealed, with the automaker’s Australian distributor announcing that 150 cars will be available nationwide.As with the standard WRX, the vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine producing 197 kW and 350 Nm.

It will be equipped with Recaro bucket seats, Red Brembo brake calipers (on the manual variant only), a Harman Kardon speaker system, a “carbon design” dashboard, crystal black reflections and of Limited Edition Club Spec Badges.

It will also have the microfiber steering wheel and 18-inch alloy rims from the more expensive WRX STI.

Unlike previous limited-edition WRX cars, including the 2012 Club Spec, this edition does not come equipped with a rear spoiler.

The STI, STI premium and STI spec.R are currently the only WRX variants to offer aero packages.

Pricing for the six-speed manual will start at $ 47,990 (plus highway costs), while the automatic CVT option costs an additional $ 2,500 at $ 50,490 (plus highway costs).

The entry-level Subaru WRX currently starts at $ 40,490 (plus highway charges).

Local dealerships will start receiving shipments from the WRX Club Spec in the coming weeks, Subaru Australia says.
