Leicester City have been linked with a sumemer approach for Burnley’s young Dwight McNeil – and his boss Sean Dyche has agreed that the winger will soon be gone for better things.

The England Under-21 international has been the subject of speculation linking him to moves to Wolves, Juventus, AC Milan and now Leicester as talks surrounding his future continue to rumble.

And Burnley boss Dyche admitted the player would end up “forging his way to times greater than” Turf Moor, he told the Burnley Express, explaining exactly why some of the “bigger” clubs Europeans are so fond of his talent.

Dyche said: “I think against some of the young players from some of the superpower clubs coming in as a team, he has to work both ways – this is the team we are, he knows that.

“He has to learn all parts of the game, and that’s great for the development of young players. ”
