Latest rumors on I’m A Celebrity 2020 lineup – who’s the favorite to enter the Welsh castle

This year I’m A Celebrity will be a series unlike any we’ve seen before. The ITV reality show will return to our screens for its 20th series this fall – but fans won’t see the celebs taking on the usual Australian jungle.

Instead of falling under the competition, along with hosts Ant and Dec, will travel to Gwrych Castle in Abergele, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A host of famous names would take part in a fight to be crowned the very first king or queen of the castle.

We’ve seen names including Corrie star Jack P Shepherd and Jenny Ryan from The Chase and even Bear Grylls linked to the show.

But the bookies have added a few more names and now there’s a new favorite to join this year’s camp.

Here, North Wales Live takes a look at the latest campmates and signings confirmed so far:

AJ is said to be in talks to join the line-up after leaving Strictly Come Dancing.

And according to the bookies, he has the best chance of winning a place in the lineup with odds of 1/10 – making him the current favorite.

According to The Mirror, he would be keen to prove himself as a brave and “tough” man after four years of wearing sparkly outfits at the dance show.

Earlier this year, he brought up rumors he might be on the show.

Opening on Channel 4’s The Steph Show, the professional dancer didn’t deny the rumors and instead insisted that viewers were going to be in for a treat due to his irrational fear of spiders and all that is scary.

When asked if he was really “in talks” to join the legendary jungle, AJ expressed his fears when it comes to participating in Bush Tucker’s disgusting trails.

He said to Steph McGovern, “Well let me put it like that, I just cleaned the attic because my mom has a chores to do list. The amount of spiders up there, I was screaming my head. So if something like that happened it would be hilarious – that’s for sure! “.

He said: “I’ve seen the bookies, the bookies have had me at number one for a long time and I keep thinking that means they’re going to ring. But no, there hasn’t been any contact yet.
