Cook back on the cards

Leeds United are reportedly in the process of making an offer to re-sign Lewis Cook.

According to Football Insider, the Whites have Cook “firmly” on their radar ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old went through the club’s academy before leaving with a £ 6million contract with Bournemouth in 2016.

Cook, who made 27 Premier League appearances last season, has two more years on his contract at Vitality Stadium.

Ben White boost

Brighton have given Leeds United some Ben White transfer potential.

Leeds were reported to have had three offers for White turned down as they aimed to sign the former star from last season’s loan.

Club captain Lewis Dunk has also been linked with a move, but the Seagulls have now reached a new five-year deal with the defender.

It is quite possible that now will give Leeds a boost as Brighton’s position on White could now soften.

Ryan Kent last

Leeds United “are considering” a second offer for Rangers ace Ryan Kent, The Athletic reports.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard confirmed this morning that his side had turned down an offer, which was worth up to £ 10million, from the Whites.

The 23-year-old has scored seven goals in 21 SPL appearances during the 2019/20 season and was on the scoresheet for Rangers’ 3-0 win over St Johnstone earlier this month.

Leeds continue to be closely linked with Kent, but without a release clause in his contract Rangers are holding out.
