The young competitors faced off against other members of their teams, to earn a place in the roster of the semi-finals.
Heidi was among those who played for coaches Will.i.am, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and Paloma Faith.
Her coach Paloma had to choose between her and the other artists on her team, not everyone being able to make it to the next round.
Kerry proudly watched from the audience as Heidi gave her everything – saw her cry at one point while cheering her on.
She played Whenever, Wherever by Shakira, and certainly gave it her all.
At the end of the performance, Paloma had the difficult task of choosing one of the trios.
Coaches handed down their verdicts before Paloma chose Dara, which meant Heidi was heading home.
When the result was announced, Kerry ran to the side of the stage to hug her with her little one and said how proud she was of herself.
Heidi took the backhand like a true pro, praising her competition mate for pulling it off.
Kerry had taken to Twitter earlier in the evening to tell viewers that Heidi would be turned on again.
She posted: “Don’t forget to log in and watch my heidikatona on thevoicekidsuk tonight at 7.20pm it’s battles !!!! ”
Last month, viewers were stunned to see the family singing when the young girl performed Jasmine Thompson’s version of Macy Gray’s hit I Try, after saying she “would make sure she did her thing. better ”.
Kerry watched in tears from the backstage and was visibly overwhelmed with pride at her young daughter’s big moment.
She was joined by Heidi Molly’s siblings, Max and Dylan-Jorge, as well as her partner Ryan Mahoney.
After singing for the judges, Heidi burst into tears overwhelmed by the experience as Paloma, Will and Danny all turned for her.
The Voice Kids will broadcast their semi-final next Saturday on ITV.
