Derick Dillard was the first to call Jim Bob

It’s no secret Counting on fans that Jim Bob enforces an extremely modest dress code, controls who his children interact with, protects them from secular influences, and literally chooses his children’s potential mates at court.

In recent weeks, it appears the former politician’s iron fist has led to feuds with many in the family – not just her daughter Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard. But, Derick was the first to go public with his stepfather’s criticism.

Jim Bob chose Derick for Jill, but their wedding didn’t go as he expected. Once Derick realizes that Jim Bob keeps all the TLC money the family earns Counting on instead of sharing it with his children, he began to grow back.

Derrick claimed that Jim Bob forced his children to be a part of the family’s reality show, and he also claims that Patriarch Duggar controls almost every aspect of his children’s lives. Duggar children do not have the choice of how and when to announce major life events such as weddings and pregnancies.

Derick also revealed that when TLC cameras filmed the birth of his son Samuel for a special episode. Jill had complications that resulted in an extended hospital stay. Derick and Jill had to cover the hospital bill on their own without getting any financial help from TLC or Jim Bob.

It was one of the reasons Derick and Jill decided to leave. Counting on at the end of 2017 and parting ways with Jim Bob and the family. Since then, the feud between Jim Bob and Derick has intensified, and Derick reveals all the family secrets.

Derick says ‘rely on’ is not real

When season 11 of Counting on Created in early July, Derick revealed more inside information about the Duggar family in a series of comments on a TLC Instagram post promoting the series. Derick called Jim Bob for “attacking” him and his wife for choosing to leave Counting on. And, he also wrote that the reality TV series Duggar does not represent “anything close to reality”.

“From what we have seen,[[[[Counting on is]not at all accurate, ”wrote Derick, 31. “Maybe I’ll start a live broadcast during the episodes, criticizing what’s actually going on in real time.”

Derick later alleged in a further comment that Counting on is still under Jim Bob’s control. Even though it was meant to be a spinoff from 19 children and counting which concentrates its adult children and their families.

“He will attack victims if they threaten his show,” Derick said. “We were humiliated and threatened when we first tried not to film. Now it’s not up to us to continue the show anymore because more kids got married so it’s more normal if we quit.

Derick insisted that he only had problems with the “boss” of the Duggar family, and he hopes more of Jill’s siblings escape Jim Bob’s influence and live their lives according to. their own terms.

There are, however, consequences for the Duggar children who choose to rebel. Derick revealed late last year that he and Jill needed permission from Jim Bob before they were allowed to visit the Duggar family home. The couple have also been banned from family events and cut from family photos posted on social media.

More and more ‘Counting On’ stars continue to rebel

Jim Bob’s feud with Derick and Jill seems to be just the beginning of the Patriarch’s troubles. As her children grow up and move out on their own – even with someone Jim Bob has hand-picked – they slowly begin to realize that they have a choice to live their lives the way they want.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Jim Bob and Michelle have disowned their daughter Jinger after moving to Los Angeles with husband Jeremy Vuolo and their two-year-old daughter Felicity.

They eventually reconciled, but Jinger and Jeremy have since decided to start their own independent brand of Jim Bob and Michelle. The same has happened with Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth. They refused to return to Counting on this season, and have since launched their own YouTube channel Follow the Forsyths.

Jim Bob’s niece, Amy Duggar King, claims she is not allowed to visit her cousins at their home with her permission. She also cannot speak publicly about her uncle and family without fear of trial.

When Jim Bob celebrated his 55th birthday last month, Amy and Jill didn’t wish him a happy birthday on social media. Instead, they had a double date with their husbands and posted a photo with the caption: “Our new favorite word: ‘Freedom! ”

Amy also posted a selfie with Jill and wrote that her cousin smiles “a little brighter these days”.

Are Jim Bob and Jessa arguing now?

Jim Bob also just sparked a controversy with Jessa, who appears to be the daughter of the Duggar family who still adheres to her father’s rules. Fans believed Jim Bob accidentally revealed that Jessa was pregnant with baby number four during a video of his daughter Ivy’s first birthday party.

A fan asked Jessa if she was pregnant – as Jim Bob suggested – she quickly clapped, “There’s no baby behind the bump – just tacos. 😂 Thanks for asking the question. ”

While this may not be proof of a feud, it seems more and more of Jim Bob’s children are starting to understand that he has prioritized money and TV ratings over his children. . Derick says that whatever is involved in the filming Counting on “Messed up his family” and he doesn’t want it to go unnoticed.

She looks out the back door and says “out!” When I let her out onto the porch, she points to the swing and says “Swing!” When she is seated and the ride begins, she whines, “Weee, weeeeee, WEEEE !!! The smile on his face spreads from ear to ear. When I ask her if she’s done, she turns her head away from me and gives a “No!” Categorical. So the ride continues until my arm workout is over – and then I try to distract her with something else. I know she won’t always be that small. Before I know it, she will be transitioning from the baby swing to a large children’s swing just like her brothers did. I blink and she will be 6, figuring out how to make this swing fly in the sky on her own. I blink again and she will be 16 – and who knows if this favorite pastime is a thing of the past! Babies can’t hold on. They won’t always be small. Cherish the moments. ❤️

« [TLC] canceled[[[[19 children and count]to be politically correct [after Josh Duggar’s sexual misconduct controversy], but then I brought it back because the money was too good, ”Derick wrote. “We need to break this culture that cares more about money and notes than protecting the most vulnerable. [Jeffrey] Epstein has shown us before that if you have enough money, power, and influence, you can get away with anything. Unfortunately, that doesn’t end with him.

Derick changed his Instagram bio to “old Counting on cast member “who is” enlightened “. He also tweeted that he had learned something in class that he will never forget: “Everyone has a price.”
