James Rodriguez ‘close’, Josh King ‘watched’ and other Everton transfer rumors assessed

James Rodriguez WHO?

Star of Colombia and Real Madrid.

All over.

Well, reports initially emerged from the Telegraph claiming that Everton is in talks with the attacker.

The Blues are said to be getting closer to a three-year contract for a 29-year-old who is said to be keen to reunite with former boss Carlo Ancelotti.

It wouldn’t be a big shock to see Rodriguez move on to Goodison Park given Ancelotti’s admiration and his close relationship with the player.

The Colombia international must also be at a club where he plays every week. He would get that at Everton, you can imagine. So a move would make sense.

Josh King

Bournemouth striker.

The Daily Mail names Everton in its report on clubs currently monitoring King’s availability.

It is said that many clubs do exactly the same.

Not only that, but AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are just a few of the teams mentioned as potentially interested in the forward who was relegated with the Cherries last season.

Les Bleus would likely face stiff competition if they entered this particular race.

Must-see news from Everton FC

Abdoulaye Doucoure

Watford midfielder.

Fabrizio Romano has claimed Everton continues to work on a deal for Doucoure which he still wants to bring to Merseyside.

Doucoure has always been linked with a move to Goodison Park all summer and is said to be keen to leave the relegated Watford.

But I guess we’ll have to play the waiting game and see what happens with this particular rumor.

Star of Naples.

The same report above claimed that talks with Allan are still ongoing despite the Blues’ interest in Doucoure and Rodriguez.

Ancelotti is also a big fan of Allan whom he coached during his time in Naples.

So it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see the midfielder arrive at Goodison Park this summer.

It seems to become much clearer as the days go by.
