Sarah Harding has revealed that she is battling cancer. The Girls Aloud star took to Twitter to tell fans that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has since spread to other parts of her body.

The 38-year-old hadn’t been active on social media for a long time before sharing the devastating news.

Sharing a photo of herself in the hospital, she wrote: “Hi everyone, I hope you are all safe and healthy during these uncertain times. Haven’t posted here for so long, thanks to anyone who contacted to check on me, it really means a lot. I think now is the time to share what is going on.

“There’s no easy way to say this and in fact it doesn’t even feel real to write this, but there you go. Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and a few weeks ago I received the terrible news that cancer has grown to other parts of my body.

“I’m currently on weekly chemotherapy and I’m fighting as hard as I can. I understand this can be shocking to read on social media and it really isn’t my intention.

“But last week it was mentioned online that I had been seen in the hospital so I think now is the time to let people know what’s going on and this is the best way to do it. .
