French President Macron says Belarusian President is reluctant to play OSCE role

PARIS (Reuters) – French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday said Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was reluctant for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to play a role in Belarusian mediation.

Speaking at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at Fort de Bregancon on the French Riviera, Macron also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin reacted favorably to the proposed role of the OSCE .
