PARIS – The French authorities will render in the coming days the decision of Great Britain to impose a quarantine of 14 days on all arrivals from France, said Monday the young Minister of European Affairs.

Britain said on Friday travelers from the UK to France are required to self-certify that they are not suffering from symptoms of coronavirus or that they have been in contact with a confirmed case in the 14 days before the trip.

Since August 15, British authorities have also required travelers returning from France to self-isolate on their return due to the high rates of COVID-19 infection in France.

“We will have a measure called reciprocity so that our British friends do not close the border in one way,” French Minister of European Affairs Clément Beaune told French television France 2.
