France says ready to help Lebanon after explosion

PARIS (Reuters) – France has declared its readiness to help Lebanon following a massive explosion near central Beirut that killed at least 10 people and injured hundreds.

“France is always on the side of Lebanon and the Lebanese people. He is ready to offer his assistance according to the needs expressed by the Lebanese authorities ”, declared the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian in a press release on his Twitter thread.
