Rumors have been racing about which celebs could take part since it was revealed that a show would be set this year.
By now, the full cast list has generally been announced, with the famous faces being formed for their first performance.
While the competition does not usually start until the end of September, the first show of the season sees amateur dancers teaming up with a professional.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, procedures have been changed this year as the season is shortened.
Spokesman John Hill said: “Ferne McCann could be ready for one of the biggest challenges of her career this year, as our bets suggest she could be a Strictly candidate in 2020.”
Fearne’s chances are going to snatch the Glitterball Trophy from defending champion Kelvin Fletcher, 36, currently at 20/1.
“McCann has been working hard on his fitness this year and it could pay off on the Strictly dance floor,” added John.
BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker, 43, also appears to be a strong contender to hit the dance floor.

Having previously held 6/1, his chances of participating have now been reduced to 2/1, making it very likely that he will be able to register.
Spokesman Harry Aitkenhead said: “Dan is a familiar face at the BBC, but we think he’s going to face a different challenge on our screens this fall. ”
Another comedian joining Bill and Caroline could be Greg Davies, 52, as he may have his sights set on the Glitterball Trophy which is currently set to join the line-up at 1/2.
“Greg is the last star we think is a banker to be a contender on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020. He’s got every chance to hit the dance floor,” Harry explained.
Strictly Come Dancing returns later this year on BBC One.
