The case of Carole Baskinthe missing husband, Don Lewis, follows the path of ‘Don’t F ** k with Cats’ – with one group online claiming they’ve dug up a huge, crappy clue as to where her body might be. Jack Smith – the spokesperson now representing Don’s family – tells us that he and a group of Internet detectives joined forces earlier this year after the premiere of “Tiger King” and formed a Facebook group to seek the truth about the Don’s disappearance still unresolved in 1997.
Welp, we are told that the group believe they have discovered a new lead, linked to an existing theory about Don – namely that he was allegedly buried on the property of Carole and his Wildlife Sanctuary under a septic tank. According to Jack… the research team got the actual receipts and paperwork for installing the septic tank. Carole has publicly acknowledged two septic tanks – one she says was installed long before Don disappeared, and another long after.

BUT, if you believe what Jack et al. claim these receipts show… a septic tank was actually worked up and installed just around the time Don went missing… 23 years ago this month. They claim that receipts show that a permit to install the septic tank was withdrawn on August 4, 1997, and that work on such a system was completed by no later than the 15 later that same month, with a mound of earth. delivered to Carole’s address the same day. before. So what does all this mean ??? According to Don’s family and this team of investigators on Facebook, this points to the possibility that Carole was not being honest with her timeline … and that Don could very well be underground, like Exotic joe himself suggested in the docu-series. We are told that the group will relay this finding and others they claim to have to the cops, in hopes of reopening the case. We contacted Carole about the group’s new discoveries… so far, no word in return.
