Donald Trump latest news: President’s hair washing complaint forces US to propose change in shower rules

DONALD Trump’s complaints about his hair routine forced the US government to propose changing the definition of a shower head to allow increased water flow.

Under a 1992 law, shower heads in the United States are not allowed to produce more than 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters) of water per minute.

The Trump administration wants this limit to apply to each nozzle, rather than the overall head.

The changes were proposed by the Energy Department on Wednesday following Trump’s complaints to the White House last month.

He said, “So the shower heads – you take a shower, the water doesn’t come out. You want to wash your hands, the water does not come out. So, what are you doing? Are you staying there longer or taking a shower for longer? Because my hair – I don’t know about you, but it must be perfect.
