Demon attacks Alexa Bliss after Nikki Cross pushes her away

Friday night tonight’s SmackDown ended in chaos, as after Bayley defeated Nikki Cross to retain her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, The Fiend made an appearance and attacked Alexa Bliss in a shocking display.

Following Nikki’s loss to Bayley, Bliss attempted to help her friend get into the ring. Visibly upset after suffering a second consecutive championship defeat, Cross pushed Bliss onto the canvas, exiting the ring and coming out on his own. Still in the ring, Bliss was left alone as the lights began to go out. Immediately afterwards, The Fiend could be seen standing behind Bliss, and kneeling in front of her, he shockingly locked Bliss into the mandibular clutch. Bray Wyatt mentioned on tonight’s episode that no one would be safe until “he” got what he wanted, but it’s still unclear exactly what The Fiend wants.
