Vancouver Coastal Health warns of possible COVID-19 exposure event at a downtown Vancouver nightclub.
The possible exhibitions took place on August 4 and 7, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. on both dates, the health authority said.
The exhibits are believed to be low risk, but anyone who was at Levels nightclub on those days is urged to monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19.
The levels closed Tuesday for 48 hours to undergo professional cleaning, according to an Instagram statement yesterday, “due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in downtown Vancouver and the closures of other establishments in our industry.
“We’re not comfortable opening our doors to our customers and staff unless we think we can do it without putting anyone at greater risk,” they wrote.
The nightclub announced that it plans to reopen on Thursday.
