NEW YORK (WABC) – Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Saturday’s hospitalizations were the lowest since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, he said 556 have been hospitalized, while the number of ICUs fell to 143 and intubations decreased slightly to 71. Three new deaths were reported.Meanwhile, Texas has overtaken New York in the total number of coronavirus cases.

The CDC now predicts nearly 30,000 additional deaths nationwide from the virus over the next three weeks.

35 states and Puerto Rico are currently grappling with an increase in the number of daily deaths. In New Jersey, 331 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 6 confirmed deaths were announced on Sunday.

FALL OF POSITIVE CASES IN NJ
A day after New Jersey saw nearly 700 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, Governor Phil Murphy announced on Twitter on Saturday that the number of new positive cases in the state fell below 400 on Friday.

The state also reported 11 new deaths linked to COVID-19.
