Global health expert calls domestic consumer events ‘super-diffusion’ Devi Sridhar, president of global public health at the University of Edinburgh, said indoor alcohol consumption in pubs and bars can “easily become a very common occurrence”.

“I think we’ve seen this in Aberdeen, where progress has been made over the past two months. ”

His comments came after Nicola Sturgeon, the Scottish First Minister, hinted that pub crawls could be banned for fear of letting the virus spread.
