Coronavirus complications in France delay movement of Celtic attacker

VAKOUN ISSOUF BAYOThe move from Toulouse to Toulouse is delayed due to news from France that the Ligue 2 manager has tested positive for Coronavirus. An official announcement was expected from the French club, Bayo having already been photographed in the club’s colors. However, news from the south of France is that the club have confirmed four positive cases – including the manager and the assistant manager.

A statement from Toulouse said there would be further testing underway with players they believed were at risk of catching the virus.

“So far, four cases have been confirmed – the manager, Patrice Garande, his assistant, Jean-Marie Huriez and two players. In addition, seven players will be tested again this weekend.

“Training will resume later this week, led by other members of the coaching staff.”

Celtic are closing in on West Ham United’s Albian Ajeti on a one-season loan, with option to buy. Another name that has been mentioned is Steven Fletcher, who would probably sound more similar to the role played by Bayo.
