As tensions continue to mount at Speed Daal, Alya is no longer able to cope with Geoff’s nasty attempts to anger her. Fighting on her own with various take-out orders after Geoff deliberately rolls back the staff changes, Alya ends up throwing everyone out and tearing the place down.
Tim is shocked to see Alya’s explosion, but Ryan insists it’s not without good reason as Geoff has been undermining her for months.
Tim begins to wonder if Geoff is really as innocent as he claims he is – and his doubts increase when he lets Sally with crucial information.
As Tim reveals that Geoff had a secret CCTV camera in Yasmeen’s house, Sally is horrified and urges him to see her father for who he really is. Will Tim finally listen? We can only hope …
2. Emmerdale: Belle is done with the Dingles
(Friday at 7 p.m. on ITV)
Belle faces another scorching week, as Cain returns and struggles to find Jamie. Nate shows his own disapproval of Jamie by smashing his car’s rear view mirror, while Sam gets kicked out of Home Farm for bashing the troublesome Tate.
When Sam asks Belle for help in getting her job back and she refuses to support him on that point, it seems she has ultimately chosen sides by choosing Jamie over her own family.
Before long, Belle is packing up her things and telling her loved ones that she is moving in with Jamie.
3. Neighbors: Shane escapes Erinsborough as his secret causes chaos
(Friday at 1:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Channel 5)
Shane faces a rough week, as Dipi follows him through the streets of West Waratah after dark. While Dipi doesn’t see the pivotal moment when Shane makes a trade with his drug dealer, she can sense that her husband is hiding something big from her.
When Roxy sees how much Shane’s secret affects Dipi, she confronts him and urges him to change his behavior. Roxy takes it a step further by trying to dump Shane’s last meds down the sink, which leads to things getting physical as he desperately tries to stop her.
Shane’s actions come back to bite him when Kyle walks in and tells Dipi that her husband was abusive towards Roxy.
Finding that anger and stress issues were behind the argument rather than nothing more, Shane vows to stay with his brother Stonie for a while to clear his head. His relatives still don’t know the terrible truth – yet.
4. Emmerdale: Vinny chooses the wrong side
(Monday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ITV)
Vinny is furious with Mandy when she accuses Paul of stealing charity money from David’s shop. When David later admits that he simply misled him, Vinny urges Mandy to see that she needs to stop thinking about her father’s worst.
Vinny even warns Mandy not to make her choose between her and her father. It seems the impressionable teenager is starting to favor his father, which breaks Mandy’s heart.
Later, viewers will see Paul make a secret and highly suspicious phone call. With all the signs pointing to the inevitable – Paul hasn’t really changed his ways – it looks like Vinny could make a major mistake.
5. Coronation Street: Adam takes action against Nicky
(Friday at 7:30 p.m. on ITV)
Daniel must confide in Adam about his friendship with Nicky as she is arrested and in need of legal representation after the commotion outside the Bistro. He first made it clear that Nicky was a “friend,” but then explained to Adam how he paid her to dress in Sinead’s clothes.
At this point, Daniel and Nicky made a pact to just be friends, marking a change in their relationship. He promises Adam that there is no more to worry about now, but Adam clearly thinks otherwise by offering Nicky money to stay away from Daniel from now on.
(Friday at 1:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Channel 5)
It’s a storyline we’ve waited 18 months to see, as authorities finally find out Colby’s abusive stepfather Ross Nixon is dead. Hikers find Ross’s body buried in the bush, prompting police to be called to the scene.
It marks the start of a few dramatic weeks in the Bay, as Colby fears his murderous secret is at risk and Willow, Dean, and Bella all struggle in their own ways with the pressures of the investigation. Additionally, with Angelo Rosetta returning to oversee the investigation, Colby must fight to keep the truth a secret.
7. EastEnders: Secrets from the Square – Whitney Dean et Sonia Fowler
(Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on BBC One)
In the first of three Secrets of the place episodes this week (did anyone accidentally order too many?), Shona McGarty and Natalie Cassidy sit down to chat with Stacey Dooley to think about their EastEnders the story.
The pair reflect on their experiences participating in the series as child actors, and the various ups and downs their characters have gone through since.
Natalie opens up to Sonia’s first love, Jamie, while Shona talks about the impact of Whitney’s hard-hitting storylines.
Plus, it wouldn’t be a Sonia-themed show without her famous trumpet making another release…
8. EastEnders: Secrets from the Square – Kat et Stacey Slater
(Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on BBC One)
Kat and Stacey will return to the screen in EastEnders this fall (thank goodness) and this Slater family reunion episode from Secrets of the place Whet our appetites, as Jessie Wallace and Lacey Turner are the latest cast members to be interviewed by Stacey Dooley.
The popular duo look back at some of the best Slaters all-time moments, from the iconic ‘you’re not my muvva’ cliffhanger, to the many family feuds and how Jean’s introduction helped viewers see Stacey in a new light.
Jessie and Lacey will also be sharing a few teasers on what’s in store for Kat and Stacey in the fall.
This episode is followed on Friday by a special “invisible” episode of Secrets of the place, featuring moments that were left on the cutting room floor from previous interviews.

Ahead of Hollyoaks“Big comeback on September 7, E4 is usefully broadcasting a week of special recap to get us up to speed. This includes the last five episodes to air in July – with stories like Darren’s depression, Felix’s love triangle, and Mitchell and Scott’s wedding preparations.
This is also our first chance to see these episodes as they were originally intended to air – stripped down over one week, rather than rationed out over three.
