Colbie Caillat moves on.
The 35-year-old singer announced Wednesday that she and her Gone West teammate Justin Young have chosen to disband the country music group.
“After a lot of thought during this time, Justin and I decided to leave Gone West,” the “Bubbly” singer shared on Instagram. “Creative partnerships, especially with friends, can be both rewarding and empowering at times, and while it’s not an easy decision, we know ending the group was the right one. ”

Gone West was also made up of Jason Reeves and Nelly Joy, who are married.
Caillat and Young, 41, have been dating for 10 years and got engaged in 2015. They announced the end of their relationship earlier this year.
In her post regarding the group, Caillat stressed that she and Justin “will continue to make music together forever” and remain “best friends”.

“We are so proud of the music that we have created together over the past three years,” she continued. “’Canyons’ is an album we really love and cherish, each song contains so much truth in the experiences we all go through in life.”
Next, the musician thanked the band’s fans, as well as the music stores and creative teams they’ve worked with.
“Here’s whatever adventure will follow,” the post concludes.
Young shared a screenshot of his ex’s post and added his own caption.

“So many unforgettable experiences and opportunities for growth,” he writes. “I am grateful to have been a part of Gone West and for the support and love we have received from so many of you. ”
“Imua,” he continued, which Google Translate says means “straight ahead” in Hawaiian.
The couple announced the end of their relationship in April with another note on Instagram.
“It’s hard for us to share, but we want to be honest with all of you. After 10 wonderful years, Justin and I ended our relationship. We started out as best friends and will continue to be best friends. And we will continue to work and make music together, as we always have, ”the post read.
