Chris Jericho and his band Fozzy have officially started touring again and he wants all of his fans and critics to know that the band is taking every precaution possible to ensure a safe experience.

Jericho continued with his typical Saturday Night Live Stream event last night as he was on the road with his band and was met by many skeptics who told him the tour was not a good idea during the pandemic. . Fans were numerous, most wearing no form of masks and having no social distancing from each other.

Chris Jericho explained that they’ve already moved all shows from April and May to July and August, delaying them yet again to fall. However, there were four shows left on the August schedule that couldn’t be rescheduled, so they decided to run with them because the shows were in North and South Dakota. Jericho said, “The reason the emissions have taken place is because these states of North Dakota and South Dakota have low cases of COVID-19, less than a thousand in both states.

Jericho reiterated that protocols are in place and that none of the sites are operating at full capacity. He and his group remain isolated from all outside parties when they are not on stage. He said, “The sites are either outside or at half capacity. We are full tonight at Minot with, I think, 50% capacity. Last night we were full in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with I think the capacity was 35%. We hand out masks at the door, do temperature checks, all that sort of thing. We basically stay on the bus all day and everyone in Fozzy’s camp, the team and the group have been tested. Yeah, that’s kind of how we do it. Everything is fine. It was so great to be back on stage.

There have been a plethora of photos and videos posted online from the concert, and despite the distribution of these masks and asking fans to socially distance themselves, it appears to be a long way from what’s happening. A few fans feel uncomfortable that Jericho will immediately return to AEW Dynamite and not quarantine himself even though those states are not on the required quarantine list.

What do you think of Chris Jericho’s new tour with his band despite calls from government officials and fans to postpone all concerts? Let us know in the comments below.
