A Liverpool children’s artist has been jailed after sending threatening messages to his ex.Kyle Corrin, 20, asked his ex-girlfriend, Katie Bishop, to tell her who she was with and ordered her to answer the phone.

The actor, who runs a mobile zoo and attends children’s parties, also threatened Gregory Smith in a voicemail message.

Corrin, of Simons Croft, Netherton, appeared in Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on Thursday August 20, accused of controlling behavior and sending a threatening message.

The artist, who previously appeared on ECHO after losing the skunk at his exotic zoo, has also been accused of breaking a no-assault order by going to his ex’s home, which he was prohibited from doing. to do.

The court heard that the offenses, which took place on September 24, 2019 and June 5 of this year, put Corrin in violation of a previous suspended sentence.

The artist was previously given a suspended prison sentence for possession of an offensive weapon on January 31 of last year.

Corrin admitted the offenses after a trial date was set.

On Thursday he was ordered to serve his original 18-week sentence and two 26-week sentences, totaling just over 16 months in prison.
