The presence of Hudson Odoi was not enough for Saha FC to hold Lambeth, who lost the game 5-3.
However, people were shocked when the Chelsea star shook himself as a spectator said: “Everyone recognized him and he was chatting with everyone.
“He knew some of the boys from Saha FC, that’s why he was there. People couldn’t believe it.
The winger believed to have his name on the Allianz Arena scoresheet, but his long-range stunner was quashed after a VAR review said there was an offside. This match ended at 9.45 p.m. in Munich.
At 10:30 a.m. the next day, he donned the No.11 shirt for Saha FC, who play in the Croydon Municipal Adult Sunday Football League, and helped kick off the pre-season friendly on a 4G pitch at Selhurst Arena.
Hudson-Odoi then took to Twitter and wrote: “The pleasure of coming and launching the Anti Knife Crime and Black Lives campaign counts !!! Also good to see familiar faces playing for a good cause in the community ‘
Opponents Lambeth Allstars tweeted: “Thank you Callum Hudson-Odoi for coming out today to support our anti-knife BLM community event. “
