She said OK! : “I might have liked to go out and have a good time, but I know I’m going to be an amazing mom and do anything for my baby. ”
The Celebs Go Dating star’s first child is due a week in advance, which would have been his famous father’s 90th birthday.
Les died tragically of a heart attack when Charlotte was only eight months old.
But although she’s too young to remember him, he’s always been a big part of her life, and she even has a portrait of him tattooed on her skin.
Charlotte said: “There is every chance I can give birth on her birthday. What a tribute that would be! ”
Matthew, the reality beauty and the rugby league player, have been together for about four years and have shared a lot of ups and downs.
They even appeared on Celebs Go Dating together to sort out their relationship therapy issues.
But after everything they’ve been through, Charlotte says now is the “perfect” time for them to start a family together.
Matthew added, “We’re both ready for this next chapter. We have a house and have been together for four years. It feels good. ”
The pregnancy is good news for the family, who suffered a terrible tragedy in June when Charlotte’s brother-in-law committed suicide.
Charlotte took to Instagram at the time to pay tribute to Glen, the husband of her sister Samantha Southern and the father of her young niece and nephew.
The heartbroken star wrote, “I can’t even believe I’m writing this… I feel sick. My sister-in-law @sammysuns and our family had the most devastating thing to ever happen to us on Saturday morning.
“A family man, the best husband, father and brother-in-law we could have asked for sadly passed away unexpectedly by taking his own life leaving us all heartbroken, especially my sister, her brave daughter @jesssouthernx and my little niece and nephew who were his complete world, which breaks my heart.
“I promise to take care of them forever my cherubs. We don’t all understand and will never know why. However, I try to stay strong for my family and thought I would create a GoFundMe page that would help them support them as it was a shock and hit us all.
“We appreciate you reading it and would be grateful for any support. I linked the page to my story, thank you very much️ You really don’t know what’s going on in someone’s head no matter how happy they are… it’s terrifying. Please everyone should always be nice. ”
A GoFundMe page set up to support the family explained that Glen had committed suicide after struggling to come to terms with the death of his mother, who died from coronavirus.
Glen was also struggling to run his business in today’s climate.
