Sudbury & Districts Public Health says a Greater Sudbury man in his 30s has tested positive for COVID-19.

The health unit made the new case public at 10 a.m. Friday morning.

The man’s exposure to COVID-19 is unknown – he had not traveled and had no contact with a known case. He is self-isolating. The health unit said the man was tested on August 5.

Through contact tracing, Public Health will directly inform all close contacts. If you are not contacted by Public Health, you are not considered close contact.

This is the 91st case of COVID-19 reported in the area served by Public Health Sudbury and Districts since the start of the pandemic.
