Thomas will now aim for the Giro d’Italia, while Froome will drive the Vuelta a España.

Thomas won the 2018 Tour de France and finished second a year later, while Froome won four rounds and was aiming for a record-breaking fifth title after returning from a terrible crash in 2019.
