THE Prime Minister could ban indoor gatherings following a spike in coronavirus cases across England.
Parts of the country, including Greater Manchester, have already seen these measures curtailed after health bosses warned government too mixed up between family groups is the main cause of an alarming rise in infections.
Boris Johnson is now reportedly considering seriously strict measures to control a second peak.
A source said: ‘We want to avoid a second national lockdown at all costs and a lot will depend on how we can keep an eye on things. ”
Yesterday, deaths reached 46,193 after 19 more deaths were recorded – but cases soared to 303,952 after 771 more people tested positive.
