Plot: Bishop’s restaurant will no longer close on August 1.The longtime culinary establishment announced it would close its Kitsilano restaurant after 35 years in business in March, but things have changed.

Now you can find the 2183 W 4th Avenue restaurant open for the rest of the year. This is the best news we have heard in 2020 yet.

Restaurateur John Bishop is still retired, as is the establishment, but now you have an additional five months to get to this iconic farm-to-table location.

Bishop’s Restaurant now offers two sessions for 20 people Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to closing. Customers can also opt for take out via “Bishop’s at Home”.
