“The Bachelorette” is set to return to television this fall on Tuesday, October 13.
Season 16, which stars Clare Crawley, will begin with a two-hour episode, according to ABC.
However, rumor has it that Tayshia Adams, 29, will succeed as the Bachelorette after Crawley, 39, fell in love with one of her contestants at the start of the season.
The change was believed to have come just two weeks after filming and which Crawley didn’t even want to continue after giving his first impression on candidate Dale Moss, according to previous reports.

Along with the announcement of the premiere on Thursday, a poster for the season featuring Crawley.
In the photo, Crawley holds a rose and leans against a wall as a man spreads a sock over his foot and leg.
“It’s about time,” the poster read.

“Bachelor Nation, the wait is finally over! Clare Crawley will finally embark on her journey to find true love as ‘The Bachelorette’ returns for its 16th season scorching a new night, ”the statement read.
He continues, “Clare got women across America applauded from their living room when she stood up to controversial bachelor Juan Pablo in the memorable 18th season finale of ‘The Bachelor’. Clare left the season with a new sense of self-worth and a determination to never settle for anything less than the unconditional love and respect she deserved. ”
The announcement concluded, “Follow her passionate and mad race to find her soul mate and the explosive turn of events that will get any Bachelor Nation talking. “
No mention was made of cast reshuffles and ABC did not respond to rumors when contacted by Fox News.
Crawley was announced as the last “Bachelorette” in March and filming was prematurely stopped due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In July, it was revealed that 15 of the 32 male contestants had been excluded from the show and had been replaced by 25 more.
