Bachelor Season 21 winner Vanessa Grimaldi got engaged to her boyfriend Josh Wolfe, a Canadian businessman.
Grimaldi, 32, took to her Instagram to share the happy news Monday, in a series of photos from Sunday night’s engagement which she told People Magazine was “an intimate and beautiful candlelit moment.”

“It was absolutely beautiful! Vanessa sprang from the moment Josh, 35, asked the question atop the Porte Saint-Louis in Quebec City, Canada.
“I knew we were going to get engaged eventually, but I had no idea it was going to happen when it did,” she continued.
“Josh is the first person I’m comfortable with and never doubted his love for me. I was ready to say YES! I am the luckiest woman!

In 2017, Vanessa received the final rose from Nick Viall in The Bachelor, and the couple got engaged in the finale.

However, they only broke up five months later.
“We just realized that we were different people fighting to maintain a relationship when at the end of the day we just weren’t the best for each other,” she said. to People at the time.
Luckily, however, it looks like Nick only has good wishes for his ex and new fiancé.

The exes recently followed each other on Instagram shortly after Nick announced an upcoming episode of his podcast, which sees the couple reunite for a conversation.
But now there is love in the air for the special education teacher – with someone who was still in her hometown of Montreal.
“I feel at home every time I’m with Josh,” Vanessa said enthusiastically to Josh. “His love and affection for his family is something I have always admired about him and what I have always looked for in a partner.

Never the gentleman, Wolfe actually helped design Grimaldi’s gorgeous 18k yellow gold and 1k diamond engagement ring, with help from Montreal jeweler Teresa and Sons.
“I knew Vanessa was the one after the first Sunday lunch I had with her family in Saint-Léonard,” he exclaimed. “It was then that I realized how important family was to her and to me. I felt so welcomed and just grateful that they could one day become my extended family. I felt like I was at home.

The couple, who enjoyed their first date in New York City, had been dating for a year and a half.
As an engagement party, the engaged couple will celebrate with a small group at their favorite Lebanese restaurant, Garage Beirut, in Montreal.
Part of the bill will be donated to the Lebanese Red Cross to support the victims and their families of last week’s deadly explosion in Beirut.
