As the Rome side prepare to sell Felipe Caicedo for around € 5million to Qatari side Al-Gharafa, this will pave the way for Simone Inzaghi’s side to bring in a new striker.
Three names were announced in the Italian press today, with Corriere dello Sport reporting that Wesley, Divock Origi of Liverpool – who has been linked with a move to Villa – and Vedat Muriqi of Fenerbahce have all been identified as possible targets for Lazio.

Villa signed Wesley for £ 22million from Club Brugge and the striker found his marks in the England game when he was sorely affected by a knee injury.
The 23-year-old scored his first goal in just under three months in the New Years clash with Burnley before sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
He ended the campaign with five goals in 21 Premier League appearances with an assist in his name.
Wesley’s recovery from the injury eight months later is near.
